Personal
I rarely have the opportunity to work on projects for myself, but this is something I'm proud of – the invitation and accessories from my wedding.
To be honest, my dad insisted that I do better on my invitations than something ordered online and massed produced. As in every other facet of my life, in planning my wedding I was intensely concerned about the budget (I find this is both a blessing and a curse most of the time). My dad reminded me that the invitations were really the "marketing" for the wedding.
Put that way, I knew I needed to do something that really captured the essence of the event.
I'm really glad I did.

Wedding Invitation Set
Our wedding was at my parents' home, and I made that the focal point of the invitations. I found a wonderful illustrator, whom I worked with to bring my concept to life. Elements from my parents' house and yard are featured across all the accessories.
The illustrations, design, and this photograph, we're done by the wonderful and talented Nicole Block at the nic studio.

Program Cover
This tri-fold program shows a tree and set of wagon wheels that are in the yard behind where the ceremony took place. The Welcome was written by my very talented father, Bill Heater, of Real Life Creative.
